POLICE have asked the public to ignore false reports that Gassers’ are now posing as Jehovah’s Witnesses before attacking their victims.
According to Police spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo, there was an audio circulating that criminals spraying people now presenting themselves as Jehovas witnesses.
She said police had not received any such reports.
“People should ignore what is being propagated in the audio. We find it inciting and places Christians from Jehovas witness at risk,” she told #Kalemba in a statement.
“No such report has been recieved by police,” she added.
She urged the public ignore what was being propagated in the audio.

“We however urge the public to be security conscious and probe every person that goes to their homes before trusting them,” advised Katongo.
