New commando wins Ironman title for doing 205 pushups in 60 seconds

WHILE others were busy breathing heavily after 20 push ups and silently whispering to their ancestors for strength during the Special Forces training of intake 10 of 2024, one man decided to skip the laws of human limitation and casually become a weapon of mass intimidation by becoming Zambia’s own Rambo!

The Ironman award is given to a trainee that showed physical strength during the physical training tests.

In a world where most people can barely survive 20 push ups without seeing their ancestors, this newly minted commando singlehandedly bullied gravity into submission by doing 205 push ups in less than two minutes during the Special Forces training in Mbala.

After nine grueling months of running through bushes, dodging insults from instructors who yell louder than thunder during a power cut in Luapula and bonding with mosquitoes on night patrols, Private Lameck Kabwe emerged with an achievement of being crowned Ironman of the Special Forces Intake 10 of 2024.

Kabwe stood out like nshima at a Matebeto event.

He clocked in 205 push ups, 165 sit ups and 20 heel ups all in under two minutes, less time than it would take a girl from Mufulira to microwave a meat pie.

This is the man who doesn’t need a weapon to kill an enemy during war as he would be used as a weapon himself.

To reward this muscle flexing miracle, a named insurance company, handed him a 40 inches flat screen TV after seeing that he didn’t need any medical cover.
