AS wizards across the country were busy supervising their labourers to secure the bumper harvests in their fields at the witchcraft hour of 00:30, exquisite diva journalist Faith Musonda took a lone drive on the Ring road to Community House where she engaged in a tassel with security officers before they finally harvested her on a charge of disorderly conduct.
According to some officers who were present at the dramatic scene, the former ZNBC scribe who arrived driving a Toyota Fortuner, had gone with hopes of jump-starting her static legal cases by confronting the first family.
Officers said they suspect Faith to have been intoxicated with Vinchenzo’s favourite drinks which may have been the major motivation for her actions.
In 2021, the former rich aunt, was found in possession of K65 million and a house worth over K6 million in New Kasama purported to be proceeds of crime which were later forfeited to the State.
And in 2024, the Economic and Financial Crimes Court were left with no choice but to forfeit properties over K21 million belonging to her.
Assistant police public relations officer Godfrey Chilabi revealed that Faith also tried to fight the police after she was apprehended.
She has since been charged with the offence of Idle and Disorderly Conduct, contrary to Section 178(f), Chapter 87 of the Penal Code of the Laws of Zambia.
The 41 year old home breaker is expected to appear in court soon.
“The Zambia Police Service wishes to confirm that officers at Woodlands Police Station in Lusaka have apprehended Faith Musonda, aged 41 and a resident of Chalala in Lusaka, for disorderly conduct.”
“Brief facts of the matter are that on July 2, 2025, between 00:30 and 01:00 hours, the suspect, while driving a Toyota Fortuner bearing registration number BBA 8874, went to the Community House in New Kasama residential area. Police officers swiftly apprehended the suspect, who is currently detained in police custody,” said Chilabi.
