Fortune favours the brave …An introspection time with JBM

Life presents itself with situations that can deflate and empty every zest in you. Sometimes it is that feeling of self-pity emanating from a sense of being behind or left by colleagues who have progressed: academically, in business, in investments, and career-wise. Instead of it influencing a fighting spirit in you, more often than not it may deflate your inner core and motivation.

I have witnessed students who fail to lift their heads high once they fail a course and have to repeat it while their colleagues proceed to the next level because it stings. The ability to remain focused and fight regardless, calls for an attitude of brevity without which you give in to defeat.

It is said ife is not a straight line and there will be moments to tear you up as you peel the onion of your life. When that happens, it is not the end of your greatness, but rather a reminder that the fight for that which distinguishes you from others is on!

Being ahead is not all the time synonymous with excelling first. Life tends to take a twist where those seemingly behind may be fortunate enough to settle and succeed. What determines your success is therefore your brevity to face life as it comes.

When your boat has been shaken by the storms of life and the demeaning of man, what proves your resilience is your brevity to life. It is when you are stone convinced that you will cross over and that no storm remains stormy.
I
ntrospect and regain your identity and ability to push through until you make it. You look back one day and realize that a harsh moment was but a phase in life. That fortune favors the brave, meaning it takes brevity to face the shame and many times discouragement in life yet work through your lane towards success.

Whatever makes you feel stuck and stagnant has no power to hold you down because your invisible and powerful God has already set so much in motion for you. Would you then awaken your brevity to face situations and lean on the inner strength that whispers and reminds you of who you are.

That it takes brevity to call upon your God and cry out to Him for His help and intervention realizing He will never leave you nor forsake you no matter what. Even when the world looks down on you, none of their perceptions determines your destiny.

Brevity is what distinguishes you and separates you from mediocrity. The strand of uniqueness in what you do and who you are is embedded in the brevity of your heart and attitude.
When situations tend to steal your brevity of life away, revisit your greatness. Develop that idea and innovation and approach with the boldness and confidence it deserves to make a lasting impact within your circles and beyond.

Brevity calls for your attention to your dream and passion without wavering or in doubt of the dynamite you are. It is brevity that would cause you to pick up your broken pieces even when you are upbeat. Arise, dust off, keep the focus, and run towards your destiny. It is that moment when you refuse to give up and allow your circumstance to have the last say.
