RAP sensation Triple M, also known as “Rap Shofele” is making waves with his latest music video, “Tepapa,” a collaboration with the soulful Frank Ro, which is already generating buzz, but it’s the unexpected cameo by Triple M’s baby mama, Comfort Chawezi, that has fans talking.

Chawezi is the daughter of the late legendary Zambian musical icon Wesley Chibambo famously known as Dandy Krazy.
The decision to feature Chawezi in the video for “Tepapa” was a deeply personal one for Triple M. In an exclusive chat with #Kalemba, the rapper revealed it was a heartfelt tribute to her unwavering support throughout his life, especially during challenging times.
“Chawezi always stands by my side, supporting me through thick, thin,” Triple M shared, emphasising the comfort and steadfastness she brings to his life.
“The song is a response to those who try to create baseless stories about me and my partner,” Triple M explained, addressing persistent rumors about their relationship.
“People often assume that if you are not seen together publicly, there must be trouble in the relationship, which is not always the case.”

He added: “Putting Bana Wana in the video was a way to publicly demonstrate my love and gratitude for her strength and dedication. I went for her instead of using models because she’s the mother of my child.”
Triple M whose real name is Misheck Mambwe Musonda, also clarified the timing of his video release in relation to fellow artist Yo Maps’ “Mr. and Mrs.” music video, which famously features his wife, Kidist.
Triple M revealed that he had filmed the “Tepapa” video with Chawezi long before Yo Maps’ track was released.
“When Yo Maps released his song featuring Kidist, I posted on social media that it was a ‘coincidence’ because I had shot my own video with Chawezi long before he released his,” he stated.
“So, when people saw my post, they didn’t fully understand what I was talking about, as they were unaware that I had already created my own video with Bana Wana.”
Despite this public display of affection, Triple M remains keen on keeping his personal life largely out of the limelight.
“I’m uncertain about what the future holds for me, but for now, I’m content with keeping my love life private,” he admitted, noting that featuring Chawezi in the video was an unplanned decision.
Triple M said future collaborations with Chawezi in his work projects are a possibility if it’s “God’s will,” but his primary focus remains on delivering high-quality music and exploring more collaborations within the industry.
“Tepapa” is anticipated to be a major hit, with the harmonious blend of Triple M’s distinctive rap style and Frank Ro’s soulful vocals promising an engaging and memorable listening experience for Zambian music lovers.
