UK-based international stand up comedian Daliso Chaponda is next Thursday expected to get Zambians laughing off their troubles and stress of 2022 as he makes a stopover for one of the biggest comedy shows this year.

Combining efforts with local funny man Chibwe Katebe, Daliso’s show is slated for the Lusaka Music Club at East Park Mall.

Daliso first caught the attention of the world in 2017 when he wowed judges and the audience with his witty and well-delivered jokes during an appearance at Britain’s Got Talent.

The judges showed Daliso their approval with a golden buzzer and that catapulted him onto the big stage.

Since then, Daliso has performed around the world and at the Edinburgh, Melbourne, Singapore, and Cape Town comedy festivals. He has also toured the UK twice to sell out audiences and rave reviews.

Daliso’s ability to wittily and humorously draw cultural comparison between his native African country Malawi and his current home in Europe has always gotten his audience in stitches.

Over the last five years, the Malawian has squeezed himself on the list of top international comics attracting over over 300 million views of his stand up online.

Grab your self a ticket going between K200 and K1000 and get to see Daliso live on stage on December 15.

  1. Greetings! I know this is kinda off topic nevertheless I’d figured I’d
ask. Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest writing a blog post or vice-versa?
My blog addresses a lot of the same subjects as yours and I believe we
could greatly benefit from each other. If you happen to
be interested feel free to shoot me an e-mail. I look forward to hearing from
you! Superb blog by the way!

  2. When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment
is added I get four e-mails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
    Many thanks!

  3. Right now it appears like WordPress is the preferred blogging platform
out there right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what
    you’re using on your blog?
