GOVERNMENT has confirmed that the body of former president Edgar Lungu which was scheduled to arrive in the country today, won’t arrive as earlier stated.

Secretary to the Cabinet shared through a statement that constructive consultations between government, family and other stakeholders were still ongoing to ensure a smooth repatriation.
Kangwa added that the public will be advised, in due course, when the body of the late former president will arrive in the country.
“Members of the Public are further advised that full details of the State Funeral Programme will be released as soon consultations are concluded.”
“Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted,” said Kangwa.
