PERHAPS, a stay behind bars will mininimise the appetite of a randy Kalomo man who has been apprehended by police for turning the young daughters of his wife into sex slaves.
The 40-year-old suspect, reportedly defiled his 15 year old stepdaughter and sexually assaulted her 17 year old sister.
According to authorities, the incident happened on multiple occasions between May 2025 and October 11, 2025, in Kanyaya Settlements, Kalomo District.
Police received intelligence information indicating that the 15 year old had been sexually abused by her stepfather.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect is married to the victim’s mother, who has children from a previous relationship, including the victims.
Over time, the suspect allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with both the 15-year-old juvenile.
It was also revealed that the juvenile’s elder sister was also assaulted on multiple occasions by a man who took up the responsibility to protect them.
The mother was reportedly aware of the abuse but feared reporting it due to threats made against her life.
Acting on the information, police apprehended the suspect.
Southern province Police commissioner Auxensio Daka confirmed the incident.
“On October 27, 2025, at 19:35 hours, Kalomo Police Station recorded a case of defilement in which a 15-year-old female juvenile of Kanyaya Settlements, Kalomo, had allegedly been defiled by her stepfather,” he said.
The step father is currently detained in lawful police custody and is expected to appear in court soon.
