THE Copper Queens smash 4 goals into Uzbekistan’s goal post to clinch a win at the Turkish Women’s Cup.
Grace Chanda was the first to register her name on the scoreboard in the 8′ minute of the match to make it two goals in the tournament, followed by goals from Rachael Nachula 59′, Rachael Kundananji 62′ and Barbara Banda 67′
According to Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), Zambia finishes the tournament with one win and one loss as their first match against North Macedonia will not count following the withdraw of Venezuela.
The Copper Queens beat North Macedonia 1 nil in their opening game of the competition.
“Their (Zambia’s) final classification will be known after the other day’s matches are played,” FAZ posted on their page.
