Congolese soldiers apprehended Zambian murder suspect over wife’s death

A 49 year old Zambian murder suspect is currently subjected to a free french and Swahili lesson as Congolese soldiers’s apprehended him while he was trying to escape the punishment for his action in Zambia.

It is reported that Adam Changwe of Kawama in Ndola, on the Copperbelt, murdered his wife Esther Moyo aged 34 on Monday, following a marital dispute and utilised his heels to run away.

According to authorities, on the material day around 15:00 hours, Moyo differed with her husband at Kawama tarven where they were concluding the long holiday with what musician, Vinchenzo calls ‘Kodi ones’.

But as they binge drank their intoxicating beverage, the couple started to argue and Changwe started to beat her.

Concerned members of the public later separated them and they went home together.

But it seemed the fight was far from over. Around 19:00 hours whilst in their bedroom, instead of fulfilling scripture of populating the earth with bedroom gymnastics, the fight erupted again.

Changwe started beating her up to the extent that the children went into the bedroom to intervene but they failed to separate them, leading to her death.

“The body of the deceased was found lying on the bed facing upward with multiple cuts on the head which resulted in severe bleeding,” Copperbelt police commanding officer Pathius Siandenge stated.

Changwe was arrested in Congo with the help of the relatives to the deceased.

Siandenge said it was easy for the relatives of the deceased to get into Congo D.R.C. because they do the farming on the Congolese territory.

He added that efforts have been commenced to have the suspect repatriated.
