This is according to a Ugandan magazine called Decent Magazine.

According to the magazine, a 2024 survey delved into a thorough record of public appearances by first ladies over the past year.

Janet Museveni of Uganda claimed top position with a score of 8.3 out of 10.

Zambia’s First Lady Mutinta Hichilema took the second position scoring 7.1 out of 10 describing her as a champion of decency and advocacy.

The magazine stated that the First Lady’s score reflects her respectful demeanor, commitment to community development and advocacy for religious tolerance and social justice.

The judges recommended that Mutinta should enhance her online presence to amplify her advocacy message.

The list recognises the grace, dignity and impactful leadership of these women.

Decent Africa said it enlisted 26 judges to evaluate the First Ladies’ fashion styles with each judge scoring each element of the decency of their fashions on a scale of 1 to 10.

Other First Ladies enlisted include Rebbeca Akufo Addo of Ghana who claimed the third position, followed by Fatima Jabbe-Bio of Sierra Leone and Ivory Coast’s Dominique Quattara on number five.

Rachel Ruto of Kenya took the sixth stage while Jeannette Kagama of Rwanda is on number seven.

Others include Ichraf Saïed of Tunisia, Nigeria’s Remi Tinubu and on number 10, South Africa’s Tshepo Motsepe.
