KABWE General Hospital now has a new CT scan machine, thanks to the Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA).

The K13 million machine was installed and made operational yesterday.

A CT scan is a medical imaging technique that provides detailed internal images of the body.

This will be instrumental in providing better diagnosis, treatment planning, and evaluation of various medical conditions for patients in Kabwe and Central Province.

“ZAMMSA is committed to ensuring that we have improved and quality healthcare services across the country,” said ZAMMSA senior manager of corporate communications, Bradley Chingobe.

The institution remains committed to prioritising the procurement of medicines and medical equipment to enhance service delivery in all public health facilities nationwide.
