WHEN LIFE THROWS MUD AT YOU ….Introspection time with JBM

I watched a short video of a car that passed through deep mud with a lot of struggle, yet never stopped anywhere. All parts of the car were in complete mud except one-the windscreen. What enabled this car to keep moving despite the hustle of a muddy and rugged road was a constant wiping of the windscreen each step of the way!

Life has a tendency to throw ‘mud’ at you through a myriad of ways, creating a sense of unfairness or injustice much to the deflation of your zeal to live on. This write-up is for such a one who currently is covered in ‘mud’ and the temptation to self-wipe the mud is overwhelming.

Listen, mud is thrown at you through life’s circumstances perceived sometimes as unfair treatment or judgment leaving you torn into shame and a sense of being devalued. This can be from anyone such as friends, family, business partners, or even a stranger among others. If you have been at this point or you are in the heat of it currently, know that I hear you.

The gravity of such experiences may differ but having mud thrown at you is a common ground in human life.

Picking from what I have learned and am still learning is that;
Whatever your situation, of importance, is to ensure your focus is not under mud. Like the wiper on a windscreen, fight that your dream is not buried, and neither is your inner worth broken. Keep the focus clear no matter what!

When in this situation, do not try to vindicate yourself or clean yourself off the mud. Rather, concentrate on ensuring that the focus and the vision God has deposited in you remain clear. Soon destiny calls and you can leave an impact within your circles that outlives you.

When focus has been maintained, your inner dream and resolve becomes alive with such clarity and energy you have never known. While the rest of your life would seemingly be muddy, what remains untouched is that giant in you.

It is that which you are stone convinced about and distinguishes or separates you from others.
The uniqueness the Almighty invested in you oftentimes is polished during those moments, preparing to be radiated at the right time and atmosphere.

It is within that mud that you can divinely find your pearls, your diamonds of life that place you on a higher pedestal in ways you never expected. Behind that mud, you can rediscover yourself and transform your personality and approach to life.

Hardships in life or unfair judgments are but milestones and a springboard of where God wishes you to be. You are wired differently and your worth remains a tool in the hands of the Master. Nothing can stop your destiny no matter what, except yourself.
Remember, the test of life is packaged in various forms and the mud you are in now, was not meant to break you but rather build your resilience and courage opening your eyes to things you have taken for granted.

Remember, ‘critiques are the very reason for your destiny’. One day you shall arise from the ashes and ask yourself ‘Where are they now?’
No pain is wasted! Be still and know that your God liveth!
