STUDENTS of Levy Mwanawasa Medical University have this week been mourning their colleague who died during childbirth on Tuesday.
It is reported that Miranda Mikunga, a third year student of midwifery died of of excessive bleeding as she gave birth at Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital.
Her devastated schoolmates and colleagues took to social media expressing their shock while penning down brief tributes about what a lovely person Miranda was.
Dear friend, you shall forever be missed. Farewell Miranda, Farewell Miranda till we meet again on the other side,” wrote Kaira Wongani who is the University’s youth and students advocate.
Miranda was put to rest to yesterday.
