THE Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) Chipata Enforcement Team has intercepted a truck laden with 19 Bags of Cannabis weighing about two tonnes near Katete, Eastern Province.
In a statement, ZRA revealed that the average heaviest bag of the 19 confiscated was 103 Kilograms and the least 49 Kilograms.
ZRA disclosed that the interception happened on Saturday, 300 metres from Reuben Chitandika Kamanga Toll gate heading towards Katete.
The Truck and the Cannabis have since been handed over to the Drug Enforcement Commission in the Eastern Division.
