Over 50 inmates turn to faith during prison outreach in ndola – Miracle Foundation

AN outreach visit to inmates at Peter Singogo Remand Prison turned into an emotional moment of worship and reflection after more than 50 inmates gave their lives to Christ during the gathering.

Members of The Miracle Foundation, led by founder Kafula Kaunda, visited the correctional facility in Ndola where they donated clothes and spent time interacting with inmates.

During the outreach, powerful drums of praise echoed through the gathering as inmates and members of the foundation worshipped together.

In one striking moment of humility, the entire foundation knelt down while one of the inmates stood to pray and speak a blessing over everyone present.

According to Kaunda, the moment made it clear that the day was not primarily about the donations but about communion with God.

The inmates’ response to the visit was also emotional, with many expressing a desire for the foundation to return the following day.

“I knelt down in tears of joy as I witnessed our fathers and brothers worshiping the Lord and seeking His intervention. Most importantly, seeing over 50 inmates stand up to give their lives to Christ reminded me that the visit was not merely about donations, but about a powerful moment of intimacy with God that marked the beginning of new journeys in their lives,” Kaunda told Kalemba.

The outreach forms part of the organisation’s broader mission of reaching vulnerable groups in society, including people in prisons, hospitals and schools.

The foundation shared that its vision is to transform lives by preaching the Gospel and helping create a better environment for Zambia, particularly by inspiring positive change among people who will eventually reintegrate into their communities after serving their sentences.
