Katongo, who lifted the Africa Cup trophy in 2012, will be joined by former Cameroonian midfielder Alexandre Song to lead the draw that will decide which teams face each other in the group stages of Africa’s top football competitions.

According to Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), Zambia will be represented by Power Dynamos and Zesco United, who both qualified after winning their matches in the early rounds.

The two teams will now find out which opponents they will face as they continue their journey to chase continental glory.

For Power Dynamos, they also are returning to the African football stage, after years of waiting to reclaim their place among Africa’s football giants.

The team, famously lifted the African Cup Winners’ Cup in 1991 and are now hoping to reignite that same spirit of glory as they prepare to take on some of the continent’s toughest clubs.
