Speaking on Emmanuel Mwamba’s podcast, Zulu said there were so many people calling for him to stand as a presidential candidate next year and he considered their voices to be the voice of God.

The lawyer disclosed that he will soon announce his intentions for 2026 after he is done with countrywide consultations.

“Not to heed to this call to duty is not being able to listen to the voice of God and the voice of the people is the voice of God,” he said.

“It’s not an I factor, it’s a we factor…I’m listening and hoping to heed the calls of every Zambian that is there, carrying out consultations as it were.”

Zulu further said there was need for all opposition leaders to unite and ensure that the ruling party loses elections next year.

“So, my call is to Dr Sangwa, my call is to KBF, my call is to Mr Mundubile, my call is to our acting president Given Lubinda, my call is to Kasonde Mwenda, every leader of the opposition, every leader within the party, every leader outside the party, can’t we do this..
for Zambia?”

“Can’t we come together to unite for Zambia? That is what Edgar Lungu died for. We need to come together for the sole purpose of saving our country. Come together and deal with issues that the country is facing,” urged Zulu.
