MALAWI minister of information says the country has engaged communications regulators in Zambia and Tanzania to help provide technical support and expertise to locate the missing plane carrying Vice-President Saulos Chilima and nine others.

The minister disclosed this during a press briefing in Lilongwe this morning saying the country had also activated the emergency telecommunications operations centre to ensure provision of support.

He further said Macra has engaged the Angola Space agency to help with satellite imagery.

Kunkuyu has since called on Malawians to avoid politicking and sensational reporting. He has urged Malawians to act responsibly.
