Hichilema to use personal resources to help Kapasa Makasa University

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has pledged his family’s personal resources to address challenges facing Kapasa Makasa University, demonstrating his commitment to fostering a conducive learning environment for students.

Addressing students at the university yesterday, President Hichilema announced plans to utilise his personal finances to purchase an ambulance, ensuring timely medical assistance for students who fall ill at the institution located 20 kilometers away from the nearest hospital.

Additionally, he promised to procure a bus for students’ educational, recreational and tour activities, enhancing their overall experience.

The Head of State also vowed to install a borehole to alleviate water challenges on campus.

President Hichilema revealed that his love for education moved him to use personal resources to make the environment conducive for students at the institution.

“Everything will be done using the HH family resources. Because of my love for education HH and his family will buy you an ambulance,” stated Hichilema.

“We don’t want you to use excuses, we want you to succeed we want you to excel so that you work hard to create jobs for yourselves and others.”

He further encouraged students to strive for success, urging them to overcome obstacles and excel in their endeavors.

This commitment comes in response to requests made by Kapasa Makasa Student Union pesident Mapalo Chime.
