The traditional leader emphasised that the CDF approach has become a game changer, driving tangible development and helping rural communities break free from poverty through diverse initiatives spanning key sectors.

Chief Nsama commended President Hakainde Hichilema and his government for re-establishing calm and restoring national stability.

He pointed out that government has taken meaningful steps to strengthen law and order while nurturing unity and peaceful coexistence among citizens.

The traditional leader also applauded government’s efforts in uplifting traditional leadership, noting the ongoing construction of chiefs’ residences as a clear sign of respect and recognition.

He disclosed that work on his own official residence, funded through the government programme is well underway and currently sits at 80 percent.

Chief Nsama delivered his message through his Indunas during a courtesy visit by the Special Assistant to the president for political affairs Levy Ngoma, at his palace in Nsama district.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the government’s commitment towards upholding the rule of law and preserving the peace that the country has enjoyed since independence,” he said.

“I hereby endorse President Hichilema as a 2026 Presidential candidate. He started helping this palace even before he became a President, even the car parked outside, it was him who gave it to me.”

And Ngoma reiterated president Hichilema’s unwavering focus on uplifting traditional leadership, revealing that construction of 120 chief’s palaces is actively underway.

He highlighted the effort as a tangible reflection of the president’s commitment to grassroots development in his initial term.
