The visit, came after an invitation to Zambia Air Force Commander Lt Gen Oscar Nyoni by his South African counterpart, Lt Gen Wiseman Mbambo.

Nicolyn, was hosted by Dr Thokozani Mbambo, chairperson of the SAAFSF.

During her tour in Cape Town, the Patron visited various projects run by South African Air Force spouses, including a honey-making initiative, a skills centre where women create knitted products and a crèche providing care for military children.

Dr Mbambo expressed her delight at the exchange, noting that the collaboration strengthened ties between the two Clubs and opened doors for future partnerships.

Plans for a reciprocal visit to Zambia are also being considered.

The visit is expected to inspire new projects and programmes within the APLC, empowering women and supporting military families in Zambia.
