Kunda Mwamulima eyes Miss Universe stardom in Thailand

SHE’S bold, beautiful and ready to make history. Kunda Mwamulima, Zambia’s shining star has taken the country kuchalo, making her way to Thailand to battle it out for the Miss Universe 2025 crown, and the whole nation is watching.

Unlike any ordinary send-off, Kunda’s departure yesterday looked straight out of a movie scene, as she waved to cheering fans who gathered to wish her luck on her journey to global glory.

Kunda is set to represent Zambia at the 74th edition of Miss Universe, where contestants from 100 nations will compete for one of the world’s most coveted titles.

The grand finale will take place on November 21, 2025 at Thailand’s impact challenged hall, with Denmark’s Victoria Kjær Theilvig set to hand over her crown.

This moment isn’t just about beauty, but about breaking boundaries.

Zambia’s modeling industry has been on a winning streak this year, with names like Faith Bwalya, Monde Moola, Anna Musonda and Namakau Nawa making waves at international contests.

Their success has however raised expectations for Kunda, whose determination and poise have already captivated fans across the country.

Behind the glam, there’s been grit as Kunda spent months perfecting her walk, interviews and social cause platform, all aimed at making Zambia shine on the global stage.

As she embarks on her journey, excitement is rippling through social media, with hashtags like #TeamKunda and #ZambiaKuChalo trending.

If confidence, elegance and purpose were a crown, then Kunda already wears it.

Now the universe will decide whether Zambia’s queen can turn her dream into history.
