A BOOZING woman of Lusaka’s Chazanga Compound has left her husband nursing a painfully injured ‘instrument of power’ after she sank her teeth into his manhood during a heated domestic quarrel over her drinking habits.
Police said 38-year-old Brian Phiri of an unmarked house in Chazanga Compound picked up a quarrel with his wife Fadaless Mumba around 20:00 hours on International Women’s Day, accusing her of spending too much time drinking.
Like many marital disputes that begin with simple complaints about household behaviour, the argument between the two lovers quickly escalated into a physical confrontation inside their home.
The disagreement turned violent after Phiri started beating his wife during the quarrel.
But like Mixed Martial fighter Miracle Chipito defending her silver medal at the IMMAF world championships, the woman decided to defend herself in a manner that would leave her husband shouting for dear life.
In the midst of the fight, the battered wife aimed her teeth at her husband’s reproductive machinery and bit it, reaping off the skin of entire shaft and leaving him with a deep and painful cut on his manhood.
Like a man who had suddenly stepped on a live electric wire, Phiri let out the mother of all screams that was so loud for that it attracted neighbours who rushed to the scene to rescue him from the painful bite.
The injured husband was quickly rushed to Chipata Level One Hospital where medical staff briefly attended to his wounded manhood before referring him to Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital, where he is currently admitted and receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, the wife was immediately apprehended and taken to Chazanga Police Post where she is currently detained.
Police have since opened a case of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm (OABH) as investigations into the painful marital drama continue.
