A TURKISH businessman has been returned faster than the way he came as the Department of Immigration catapulted him out of the country for allegedly thinking with the organ in-between his legs and violating labour laws.

The Department of Immigration deported 55-year-old Taciddin Sahutoglu, a director at Deniz Blocks and Pavers Factory in Lusaka, for sexually abusing his female employees and violating labour laws at his workplace.

Sahutoglu was deported on Friday following an extensive investigation.

The investigation revealed not only the sexual abuse allegations but also significant breaches of labour laws, including the non-adherence to the minimum wage.

Immigration Public Relations Officer Namati Nshinka confirmed the deportation through a statement.

Nshinka stated that the Department had revoked Sahutoglu’s residence permit before his deportation, under a warrant signed by the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security Jack Mwiimbu.

Nshinka issued a stern warning to foreign employers, urging them to cease exploiting the vulnerabilities of their employees through harassment and abuse.

He emphasised that the Department would take swift action against such employers, including revoking their permits and recommending deportation.

Nshinka also called on employees to report any misconduct by their employers to the relevant authorities, ensuring that justice is served and workplace safety is maintained.

“The Department of Immigration remains committed to upholding the rights and dignity of all workers in Zambia and ensuring that labour laws are strictly enforced,” stated Nshinka.
