A BATTLE beautifully fought with strength and resilience has been lost – 32-year-old Namwaka Samulela Chibolyo died yesterday from cancer.

A jovial, accommodating and kind hearted person she was, full of life and deserving of it, as described by her friends.

She put up a strong and beautiful fight against cancer that she motivated even those without it.

Her death was announced by her family members and close friends who flooded social media yesterday expressing their grief.

Unfortunately for her, her death only came days after she was just from celebrating her second wedding anniversary.

“I am so humbled and very very gratetful. I think most of you know the journey that we have been on, when i shade tears it’s not for anything it’s part of just being grateful. Just for the love, support, the encouragement, that we have been receiving and continue to receive.”

Like this journey has taught me personally that you can lose so many things in life and you can regain them, you can lose a job, and find another one, business can go down, you can start again, but family is something that you can’t say you’re going to replace. So right now I just want to encourage everyone, that everyday when we wake up, we should be grateful for life,” said Chibolyo a few weeks ago during a family and friends gathering at her home.

Chibolyo has left behind a son, husband and a grieving family.

She was a dedicated Christian of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and went to Paklands High school for her junior secondary education. There after, she followed her dream of becoming a lawyer after attaining her paper from the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA)

“From sharing answers on the same desk back in primary school to sharing beautiful moments of laughter in adulthood, you my friend, Namwaka Samulela Chibolyo have been a remarkable human being.. You were beautiful inside and out, a pure heart you had, a kind soul you were, a loving being you shall forever be.”

“I prayed and hoped for healing, just yesterday, we made plans for next week.. But God saw it fit that you rest now. You remain the strongest human being that I have ever met, I will forever hold you dear to my heart and count it a blessing that I could call such an amazing person like you friend. Heaven has truly gained an angel. Rest well my friend, I will miss you MYSRIP. I love you!” Posted her friend, Moria Mango Selemani.
