Mr. President words cannot describe how grateful I am for the positive leadership style you have demonstrated in administering the challenges faced by the Zambian people today.
Mr. President, running the country is hard work and government needs to be more honest about saying so. The country’s economy is going through a difficult situation at the moment but not in a crisis.
Challenges difficulties, and problems are all opportunities in disguise and many countries around the globe have achieved success even in the most unlikely circumstances. A classic example of such countries are Japan, Rwanda, Malaysia, Dubai, Norway and China.
Mr. President, it is for this reason that I formulated home-grown solutions using our local resources to END LOAD SHEDDING in Zambia, introduce COAL as alternative energy for domestic use, establish FARM BLOCKS Blocks in all Districts and create industrial parks for value addition.
Gated communities housing the newly employed teachers, nurses and other government officials including schools hospital, university, recreation and sports complex, shopping mall and other amenities will be developed in FARM BLOCKS. Other solutions includes the setting up of CONCRETE and PAVED Roads PLANT under RDA/NRFA.
Mr. President, when you formed government in 2021, I immediately wrote a proposal to the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing Urban and Development on how we the Zambian people can begin constructing Concrete Roads, for example the proposed Ndola-Lusaka dual-carriage-way according to my proposal could have been a Railroad, meaning we were going to have Concrete Highway-dual from Lusaka to the Copperbelt and in between the four lane we could have a High Speed Train running from Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola to The Heroes Stadium in Lusaka, unfortunately from 2021 up to now the Ministry of Infrastructure Housing Urban and Development have not responded to my proposal.
Mr. President, my business partners in Sweden are ready today to provide Zambia with Road Pavers and Concrete Poles manufacturing Plants.
Last year I wrote to the Minister of Small and Medium Enterprise on how to bring-in the Pavers manufacturing Plant from Sweden and engage our youths in the constituencies/wards to pave Township Roads with support from Community Development Fund and other stakeholders.
Mr. President, I also wrote to the Minister of Energy and the Managing Director of Zesco requesting Zesco to partner with us to establish a Concrete Poles manufacturing Plant on the Copperbelt.
Mr. President, it is a sorry thing that up to now the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise, the Ministry of Energy and Zesco have not responded to my proposals.
Mr. President, failure is not a single cataclysmic event, one does not fail overnight, instead, failure is a few errors in judgment repeated every day.
Mr. President, one cannot make progress without making decisions, now is the time to decide and make changes to your team for the seek of progress which we the people of Zambia are eagerly waiting. Success is neither magical nor mysterious, success is the natural consequence of consistently applying the basic fundamentals and simple disciplines practiced every day.
Mr. President, without a sense of urgency desire loses its value and it is my prayer Mr. President that you will look at some of the ideas I have highlighted.
