She said my bedroom skills can’t match her Lebanese lover’s, cries Lusaka hubby

A LUSAKA man’s eight-year marriage is crumbling, not from years of drift or petty quarrels but from a single sentence in which his wife without hesitation, told him his bedroom skills could not match those of her Lebanese lover.

44-year-old Joseph Mupila, a mechanic from Garden House is believed to be a wizard with engines but failed lamentably to use some of his skills to fix his bedroom activities, leaving his wife, Alice Yengayenga, 44, to seek solace in the arms of a Lebanese man.

Mupila told the Matero Local Court that Yengayenga has taken bedroom skills very seriously, leaving no room for jokes when it comes to making her reach cloud nine.

This is in a divorce case brought before magistrate Harriet Mulenga, where Mupila sought to divorce his wife, alleging that they have unsolvable marital disputes.

“She compares me to her Lebanese lover, even saying kuti ya white izuna kuchila ya black (a white manhood is sweeter than a black one). I have seen it all in this marriage and I have lost interest. I even caught them kissing, that’s when I knew that she has no regard for me,” Mupila lamented.

According to Mupila, his wife constantly reminds him of how uneducated he is and says, she deserves someone better who can match her caliber of an educated entrepreneur.

He said the biggest shock came when he returned home from work, only to find his daughter with the teenage nephew caressing and having sex.

“I found my 14-year-old daughter having sex with my 16-year-old nephew,” he said, adding that the boy confessed he had even been sent to buy condoms by his wife.

“My wife has neglected our children. I have continued forgiving her over the years because I loved her deeply. I overlooked the insults, her infidelity but she will never change. Although I had built a house in her name, she frequently left home without informing anyone, leaving the children unattended.

But Yengayenga rejected the claims, telling the court that her husband was simply trying to hide his own behavior.

“This man lost his job and turned to alcohol. When he finally found another job, he used his salary to drink and sleep out instead of supporting the family. My business is what feeds all the children, including those from his previous relationship. He abandoned his home and only returned to assault me,” she said.

And Magistdate Mulenga expressed frustration, stating that it is inhumane and unacceptable for a normal parent to send a teenage boy to buy condoms and involve his own relative in sexual activity.

“Some of you parents are cursed. How do you allow your nephew to have sex with your own child? You are the people contributing to defilement and rape cases in this country. I will deal with you with no remorse, you are such a curse to womanhood,” magistrate Mulenga cautioned Yengayenga.

The matter was then adjourned for further hearing as the court works to determine the next steps for the troubled family.
