A MERE 15 minutes of deliberations is all it took the Matero Local Court in Lusaka to throw into the dustbin a six year marriage of Moffat Mwale and Ethel Chitulu, on account of serial cheating in the marriage.

At the core of the matter was Ethel’s shocking complaint to the court, presided over by magistrate Gaston Kalala.

In her testimony, Ethel cried that her husband, Mwale had graduated from merely fertilising any ovaries he came across to now even filming his sexual encounters with his side chicks so that he could later watch, review his performance, and return a more lethal adulterer.

Asked by the court on why he had joined Iris Kaingu’s former profession, Mwale bragged that all he wanted was to prove that he was indeed a real man, and put a stop ‘komboni’ rumours circulating faster than COVID-19 that the two children he has with his wife were fathered by someone else.

Noticing that Mwale was unrepentant and adamant to pursue his new career as ‘Blue Movie’ actor, the court wasted no longer than 15 minutes and dissolved the marriage.

Ethel was granted custody of the children while Mwale was ordered to pay K1, 000 every month for child maintenance which will be reviewed yearly and that he should ensure to cater for his children’s school fees and medical expenses.

The court also ordered the couple to sell the land they own in 10 Miles, including other property acquired during the subsistence of their marriage.
