Principal Resident Magistrate Sylvia Munyinya made the ruling today.
Mwalubulo pleaded not guilty to one count of identity-related crimes, contrary to Section 53 of the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act No. 2 of 2021 of the Laws of Zambia.
The prosecution alleges that Mwalubulo created a fake Facebook account purporting to be Gary Nkombo.
He is accused of knowingly and without lawful excuse using Nkombo’s personal identification to create the Facebook page account between September 1, 2024, and October 31, 2024, in Lusaka.
The case has been adjourned to August 4, 2025, for the commencement of Mwalubulo’s defence.
