MANSA mayor Njikho Musuku, says the unopposed nomination of President Hakainde Hichilema reflects a strong vote of confidence that the Zambian people have developed in his leadership.
President Hakainde Hichilema yesterday successfully submitted his nomination papers and is an unopposed presidential candidate for the UPND.
Musuku said the President’s uncontested candidacy symbolises the trust and unity that he has built within the ruling party.
“The development represents a clear and collective endorsement of President Hichilema’s vision for a thriving Zambia,” he said.
Musuku said that the milestone demonstrates a party firmly united behind a proven development path.
He however, observed that the absence of opposition political parties speaks volumes about the widespread belief in the President’s transformative agenda.
He said that the secured nomination creates momentum for continued national development and economic reforms.
“Stakeholders are celebrating the milestone and reaffirming their commitment to support President Hichilema because he has worked towards building a brighter and more equitable future for the country,” Musuku added.
