A 21-year male lad of Livingstone has gone on the run after fatally stabbing his sister’s baby daddy with a screwdriver in his chest.
As confirmed by Moono Namalongo, the Southern Province Police Commanding Officer, Aaron Siadelele aged 23, died of stab wounds around 21:00 yesterday.
According to details of the incident, Siadelele trekked to Malota Compound to visit his lover Ireen, with whom he has a child.
However, Siadelele’s visit did not sit well with Ireen’s brother, Jeremiah Muuba aged 21 who insisted that he had no right to visit a woman he had not married, especially at night.
Muuba is then reported to have ordered Siadelele to leave and when the directive fell on deaf ears, the angry brother went into the house, fetched a screwdriver and instantly drove it into the chest of his “brother-in-law” killing him instantly.
Realizing the criminal gravity of his actions, Muuba fled the scene but alone, his sister Ireen followed suit.
Now, Police in Livingstone, carrying charge sheets of murder, are combing all corners of the tourist capital, from the Crocodile Park to the Victoria Falls in search of the fugitive siblings.
