AN aggrieved Pentecostal woman of Lusaka West’s Kasupe Yenga Yenga Compound has taken her SDA low-key ‘home affairs minister’ AKA housewife to court after being served a full plate of piggery insults for strutting a mini skirt under the nose of the SDA woman’s husband.
This is in a matter where a make up wearing, Tiko Ngoma, 40, wanted compensation for insults from her natural looking neighbour, Sepiso Silungwe, 33.
Ngoma told the Matero Local Court that Sepiso who seemed to have a bad relationship with water, would routinely toss away Ellen G. White’s writings to colour her neighbour with pork laden language whenever she stepped out looking all swanky, claiming that Ngoma was doing it for her husband.
She told the court that Sepiso threatened to travel to Luapula in order to bewitch her with prolonged female red monthly bills if she continued to wear mini skirts at the semi-detached house (mudada).
Ngoma also stated that the Lozi woman had a ‘mouth of a Bemba’ as she would frequently shout at other neighbours without a reason.
“She was saying I’m HIV positive saying niba infa iyenda (she’s already dead) and everytime I bath she says nivalila mini bamuna bake (she says I bath and wear mini skirts for her husband). On December 12, she woke up shouting that those who wear mini skirts, I will bewitch them with prolonged periods,” narrated Ngoma.
Ngoma further told the court that after the insults, she tried talking to Sepiso as a big sister but she could not succeed.
“We even tried going to the Chief but nothing happened. I just got tired of the insults that’s why I have come here,” she said.
In her Defence, Sepiso said she insulted Ngoma because she had an habit of advising her husband to divorce the SDA lady for another woman.
She also explained that she had only insulted her neighbour once and that the other times she abandoned her Dorcas Society Handbook were all targeted at her husband during fights.
“I only insulted her once and that was a long time ago, we even talked over it. All these other times I have been insulting my husband,” narrated Sepiso.
After watching a video of how Sepiso was angrily kicking blocks of cement like Patson Daka kicked the drawing goal against Mali on Monday, Magistrate Lewis Mumba charged that the 33 year old Insultant general could be bipolar and ordered her to pay Ngoma K1,500.
“We are going to order compensation. They should take her to Chainama for her to be checked because her behaviour is uncalled for. She needs to compensate Ngoma K1,500. Starting with K500 and there after K250 every month. Effective month end of January,” he ruled.
“Once you go home no talking. If she insults again, just film her and bring the video.”
