NOTORIOUS serial gold dealer Shadreck Kasanda has dug himself into another gold scandal after he lied to a named company that he would supply it with 20 kilograms of gold.

According to police assistant public relations officer Godfrey Chilabi, Kasanda, 36, is alleged to have used his overheated iPhone to obtain US$275,500 from Africa Tango Limited under the pretext that he would supply them with 20 kg of gold.
“Police in Lusaka have formally charged and arrested Shadreck Kapasa Kasanda, 36, of Ibex Hill, with one count of obtaining money by false pretences, contrary to Section 309 of the Penal Code, Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia,” said Chilabi.
He said the incident is reported to have occurred between July 27, 2018 and October 20, 2018 in Lusaka.
The shaggy haired businessman who seems allergic to freedom has since been released on police bond, awaiting his court appearance.
This marks another legal challenge for unrepentant Kasanda, who has had other gold related cases.
