This encounter has left Nevers Sampa and Gen Z wife, Esnart Chilufya with injuries that have threatened to delete the next generation for the man and blurred vision for the woman of Nseluka Village in Mungwi.
The two have reported each other to different police posts for injuring each other.
According to a report on Crown TV, the fight between the couple erupted when Sampa discovered Chilufya, his third wife, lubricating her throat with an intoxicating beverage at a local bar entangled with another man late at night after she went missing.
He recounted that on the fateful day, he started looking for his wife but couldn’t find her even after reaching the market until around 23:00 hours.
Sampa felt threatened and did not want to experience a heartbreak of losing like Manchester United supporters who have developed thick skins as resistant to pain because of the constant disappointments on the pitch by the team.
After finding her in that situation, an argument between the two escalated until the young wife exited the bar and fell to the ground.
At that moment, the man with whom she was drinking with ran away, tearing his shirt in the process.
“I found her locked in the bar with the owner, and they were affectionately engaging in physical contact. This scar on her face, I got a stick and beat her on the eye because she got a stone and hit my nose, my finger and my back,” he told the news outlet.
Sampa questioned the motive behind his wife’s late night presence at a seemingly abandoned bar.
“The Bar was not even open for business, which raised my suspicions even further. What could justify a married woman being at a bar at 23:00?” he wondered.
The volatile situation between the couple continued to escalate even as they were being transported to Kasama in a Land Cruiser, with another altercation nearly breaking out aboard the vehicle.
It is reported that the two have had a Tom and Jerry history of chasing each other around, not for romantic escapades but WrestleMania kind of romance. .
According to a recent discovery, the couple has filed four police reports detailing physical altercations between them, exposing a destructive cycle of aggression and anger that has plagued their relationship for some time.
However, the conflict between both parties took a dramatic turn as they reported their respective injuries to different police stations.
Chilufya filed a report at Nseluka Police Post, citing the partial loss of vision in her left eye, while her husband lodged a complaint at Kasama Central Police Post, alleging physical abuse by his wife.
Meanwhile, medical reports have been issued and dockets have been opened.
