A 39 year old Yango driver of Kitwe has deleted himsef from life’s WhatsApp group after he teamed up with his sisters to beat his wife.

Edward Mushota, of house Number. 90 Zone 4, Mwaiseni, Nkana East was found lying dead in a company motor vehicle which he was entrusted to drive.
Information received from his daughter is that on Saturday, 19 July 2025 around 07:00 hours, his father stepped out for work and around 16:00 hours he went back home with his two young sisters and beat up his wife.
Later, around 18:00 hours on the same day, the daughter received a phone call and spoke to some unknown person who informed her that her father had bought some doom.
She said she pleaded with the father to go back home but he did not do so and instead, instructed her to inform his boss that he would find the company vehicle parked near the railway line in town center area.
The daughter narrated that the family looked for her father but did not find him until on 21 July 2025 when he was discovered dead in the same vehicle.
Reason for the misunderstanding with the wife is not known.
The vehicle was locked from inside and the deceased was lying dead on a slanted driver’s seat, with the keys in the ignition while a phone was connected to a car charge and an empty bottle of Kosmos insecticide was found besides the body.
