THE Zambia Police Service has waded into the storm surrounding Zambia National Service (ZNS) sprinter Rhoda Njobvu’s leaked X-rated videos, warning Zambians to keep their itchy fingers away from the forward button or risk facing the full wrath of the law.

Police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said investigations have been launched into the viral videos which shows Njobvu, a celebrated athlete, in explicit acts with Zambia Correctional Service officer Lumeka Katundu.
The videos, which surfaced across social media platforms over the weekend, saw the All-Africa Games silver medalist abandoning her athletic lanes for a race of a different kind, one involving an artificial reproductive sausage, strategic caressing and rhythmic grinding.
The clips, both around two minutes long, show Rhoda working overtime to help Lumeka reach cloud nine but even with all the grinding, tickling, and breast-stimulating efforts, Lumeka, like an old stubborn car, refused to start.
While the public is still digesting the graphic footage, police have reminded everyone that circulating or even downloading such content is a crime.
“The possession, production, and circulation of obscene materials is a criminal offence under Section 177 of the Penal Code, Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia,” Hamoonga warned.
In an interview with #Kalemba earlier, Rhoda apologised the nation, her family, and fans admitting that she is a role model to many.
She said she is deeply ashamed and traumatised by the videos being circulated without her consent.
Meanwhile, ZNS commenced disciplinary proceedings against sergeant Rhoda Njobvu, describing the scandal as unacceptable and contrary to the standards expected of its officers.
