United Kingdom based Zambian mixed martial arts fighter, Charlie Sikwa has won the 85kg Muaythai Grand Prix World Title after knocking out Darren Anstey of Luton in the third round.
it was an intense fight with big dogs having each others pound of flesh but Charlie took went all out to grab a technical knockout (TKO).
After the victory Charly went on his social media thank his family fans and supporters while acknowledging the Darren’s efforts.
“Fair play to Darren he came for revenge last night & fought great to start off, I went back to the corner after round 2 with my eye nearly swollen [and] shut,” Charlie wrote.
“I knew I didn’t have much time left so I decided in my head I’m going for it, ended up getting a 3rd round knockout & bringing that World Title back to Cardiff like I said I would.”
‘Thank you o much! To everyone that made the journey up to support me you honestly don’t understand how much it means to me, I sacrifice a lot & give my heart body and soul to this sport,” added Charlie.
