While Manchester City hitman Erling Haaland was making headlines in the English Premier League for blasting 10 goals in six matches, Zambia’s very own Captain Fantastic Barbara Banda, led the Copper Queens to a 7-nill demolition exercise against Lesotho after scoring a glut.
Banda went into the 2022 Hollywoodbet COSAFA competition like a duck
into water and has so far scored seven goals in only two matches consecutively.
Due to that victory, Zambia earned itself a spot in the semi finals.

The two Chipolopolo boys were in the starting eleven and showed up to the game in style leaving Zambians with a sense of pride.
Daka scored his first premier league goal and had an assist while Mwepu equally had an assist while he bossed the midfield with his class of excellence.
Leicester ended up losing 5:2 to Brighton and Holve Abion.
And in week three of the Zambian FAZ/MTN Super League, defending champions, Red Arrows rose to the apex of the table with a goal difference while tied on points (7) with Nchanga Rangers.
Arrows thrashed Kansanshi Dynamos 3:0 with goals coming from Joseph Phiri, Zambian soccer legend, James Chamanga and Saddam Yusuf Phiri.
Zanaco showed who pays the bills after the bankers staged a 2:1 victory against Nkana whose goal came from a
Diamond Chikwekwe spot kick in 54th minute while Ackim Mumba and Abraham Siankombo netted for Zanaco.
Matches between Prison Leopards vs Kabwe Warriors and Nchanga Rangers vs Green Buffaloes ended goaless Forest Rangers and Buildcon recorded a one all draw.
Green Eagles and Lumwana Radiants won at home by a goal each against Power Dynamos and NAPSA stars respectively as Nkwazi lost 0-1 to Zesco United.
And FC MUZA bagged a win against Chambishi with a 3-2 scoreline.
