Liswaniso wishes Dandy Crazy quick recovery

UNITED Party for National Development (UPND) National Youth Chairman Gilbert Liswaniso has expressed deep sorrow following a tragic road accident that claimed the lives of Dandy Crazy’s friends and left the musician injured.

Popular musician Dandy Crazy, real name Wesley Chibambo was involved in a road traffic accident that occurred on a night meant for celebration but turned into a nightmare as lives were lost near Kapiri Mposhi on the Great North Road.

The iconic hit maker of “Donchi Kubeba and Chitelelwe” anthems was left nursing injuries.

Dandy Crazy was immediately taken to Kabwe Central Hospital and later evacuated to UTH in Lusaka, where he is receiving treatment.

In a message of condolence, Liswaniso extended his sympathy to the families of the deceased and wished Dandy Crazy a speedy recovery.

“I’m deeply saddened to hear about the tragic loss of your friends in the terrible road accident that occurred last night,” Liswaniso said.

“My heart goes out to you and their families during this difficult time. May you find comfort and strength in the midst of this grief, and may God grant you peace, healing, and solace.”

The victims were involved in a road accident yesterday evening around 19:10 hours at Green Leaf area in Kapiri Mposhi.

The artist and his friends were on their way for a New Year performance in Kitwe when the accident happened.

The nation paused in prayer for Dandy’s health as he is currently receiving treatment at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH), where his condition is said to be critical and expected to undergo surgery.
