Nalumango heads to China

VICE-PRESIDENT Mutale Nalumango is tomorrow expected in Hangzhou City, China to attend the World Internet Conference at the invitation of the Chinese Government.

According to Zambia’s Deputy Ambassador to China Alfred Sililo, the vice president is expected to address the conference and later hold bilateral talks with the government of the peoples Republic of China.

The 2024 internet conference is being held under the theme “Embracing a peoples centered and artificial Intelligence AI for good digital future- building a community with a shared future in the cyberspace” will attract 60 countries across the world.

Sililo said conference would be attended by World think tanks who will come together to generate insights, reports and proposals aimed at fostering an open, inclusive and prosperous cyberspace that would benefit all.

“The conference will also focus on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the digital world and will seek to find solutions to various digital challenges among others,” stated Sililo.
