IN the wake of trending obscene videos and other detestable activities on the socials, MMD leader and preacherman, Nevers Mumba has counseled young people to stay away from pornographic content.
Just last week, social media was awash with depraved videos of an Equatorial Guinea government official who produced hundreds of sexual videos.
While Zambians were trying to recover from the trauma caused by the Equatorial Guinea videos, their fingers are working in over drive, competing to type comments on social media on yet more scandalous videos featuring the hairy and shabby privates of a Zambian cameran.
According to Section 177 of the Penal Code Act Chapter 87 of the laws of Zambia as well as Section 56 of the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act No. 2 of 2021, being in possession of Obscene material which includes blue movie content of adults or minors is an offence.
Mumba wrote on his Facebook page that youths should be mindful of what they allow their eyes to consume on social media as it could even happen to be a trap.
“Remember the Word of God says in Psalm 101:3. King James Version, I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes.”
“Just because something has gone viral doesn’t mean you should also participate in sharing and consuming filth,” he wrote.
