A 27-YEAR-OLD man of Nakonde district in Muchinga Province has stepped the cat of justice on the tail, after he allegedly defiled his bosses’ daughter, while his boss was inside the house.
According to police reports, Joseph Simweendo went to his employer’s home on the material day, and abandoned the harmer mill because there was no power.
But when he reached the residence, he was tempted by the spirit of jail that started calling him when he admired a 13 year old girl, daughter of his employer.
Simweendo found the girl behind the house, and sweet talked her into accompanying him to the storage room which is right behind the house.
Innocently, the girl followed him, but it was there that he stripped away his freedom.
While in the storage room, Simweendo started molesting his employer’s minor daughter, after forcibly undressing her while his boss and his wife were seated right inside the house.
But due to the pain that was being inflicted, the survivor, cried out loudly, alerting the mother who quickly ran out of the house towards the storage room.
But when she reached the storage room, her eyes saw her ears – It was her daughter leaving the room limping, and crying, stating that Simweendo had defiled her.
Simweendo who was still on the crime scene blamed the devil for his actions, accusing satan of being the one that opened his zip to commit the heinous act.
He knelt down before the survivor ’s parents, begging to be forgiven, but the child’s mother was not ready to play mother Theresa on that day.
She locked him up in the same storage room and ran to report the matter to police.
Muchinga Province Police commanding officer, Dennis Moola confirmed the incident.
“Officers rushed to the village where they picked the suspect together with the survivor and issued her with a medical report form and later escorted her to hospital for examination,” said Moola.
