SPEAKER of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti has advised Petauke Central Member of Parliament Emmanuel Jay Banda’s family to focus on the recovery of the law maker.
Banda was hospitalised after being abducted for two days a few weeks ago.
The law maker has been in and out of the hospital since the ordeal.
Visiting Banda at Maina Soko Military hospital today, Mutti urged Banda’s family to cooperate with medical professionals so that their relatives can recover quickly and go back to the National Assembly.
The speaker also shared a prayer of healing and encouragement with the family before departure.
This is contained in a statement made available to the media by National Assembly senior media liaison officer Nshamba Mzungu.
