NEWLY appointed Justice minister Princess Kasune has shared how she knew about her new appointment.
Kasune wrote on her Facebook page that she found out from a journalist that she had been appointed as Justice minister.
She revealed that she was in her constituency where she was groundbreaking to build a clinic and maternity through her organisation.
“Then a journalist from Diggers called me what’s your comment now that you are Justice Minister.. I said what kind of story is that? She insisted it was true and l said my God.”
” Until Hon. Doreen Mwamba called me then l realized it was true… I have been accorded to serve as the Minister of Justice for our beautiful country Zambia,” she wrote.
Kasune pledged to serve Zambia diligently with all her might regardless of tribe, creed or educational background.
The minister thanked President Hichilema for the opportunity and great responsibility.
“President Hakainde Hichilema l have no words may the good Lord bless you mighty for according me this great opportunity and great responsibility. To the Zambian people thank you millions, l pledge to serve you with all my might. So help me God.”
Kasune also serves as Keembe member of parliament and Central province minister.
Yesterday, President Hakainde Hichilema made changes within the cabinet where he confirmed Mulambo Haimbe as Foreign Affairs minister, Princess Kasune Justice minister while Water and Sanitation minister Mike Mposha and Green Economy minister Collins Nzovu swapped ministries.
