MURDERED Mwinilunga District Hospital physiotherapist Twambo Hitima who reportedly died at the hands of her violent husband on Monday evening will be buried in Zimba, her home town.
After the mandatory postmortem is concluded, Twambo’s body will make the long journey across the country from Northwestern to Southern Province accompanied by her beloved father and other relatives.
Family sources told Kalemba, that Twambo grew up in Zimba from where she attained both primary and secondary education.
Her departure from Zimba left all who knew her with a feeling of pride in their hearts because a true child of the soil was leaving to go and contribute to the wellbeing of others through the practice of physiotherapy.
But this weekend, Twambo’s return to Zimba will not exactly be a happy one as her loved ones will be bidding her a teary and final goodbye.
In her professional journey, Twambo made a stopover at Mukinge Mission Hospital in Kasempa before shifting to Mwinilunga District Hospital.
