LUSAKA authorities have shut down a social media clinic operating in the shadows and offering services such as abortion.
The mastermind is a 34-year-old man named Musense Apuleni, who allegedly peddled medical services like abortion, circumcision, and HIV treatment on his online platform.
Apuleni’s web of deceit unraveled thanks to a tip from vigilant citizens. Acting swiftly, police launched an investigation that culminated in his arrest on yesterday.
Police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale confirmed the arrest.
The once-elusive “healer” now finds himself in police custody, awaiting his day in court.
