Veteran singer Christine Nkole is back with a soul touching song and determined to solidify her place in the gospel music scene with a forthcoming album.
After years of establishing herself as a solo artist, Christine is switching things up with exciting new collaborations on her upcoming album.
Following the release of her powerful single “Mfumu Yanga” in January, Nkole has dropped another impressive track, “Mfisa Yesu,” featuring Pastor Gift Kaputula.
This marks the beginning of a new era for the singer, who will be joined by other talented artists like Chileshe Bwalya and Temwani Mbuzi on her upcoming album.
Christine explained to Kalemba that her decision to collaborate after a successful solo career was about reaching new heights.
“I have always wanted to collaborate with other artistes, however, in my first three albums I was finding my grip as a solo artiste and was laying a foundation for the Christine Nkole brand,” added Christine.
With her sights set beyond Zambia, Christine also hopes to collaborate with international gospel stars like Sinach (Nigeria), Michel Bakenda (DRC), and Mike Kalambayi (DRC).
“The future is about impact,” she said. “We want to see transformation not just in Zambia, but across Africa and the world.”
“Mfisa Yesu,” which translates to “Hide me Jesus” in Bemba, is now available on all major streaming platforms.
