IN TROUBLE Chongwe Police Station Officer-In-Charge Bruce Kalomo has vehemently denied reports that he was the ‘trophy’ of a ferocious fight between a female officer under his command and another slay queen at a popular entertainment spot within Chongwe.

Last week, Kalomo was the talk of town for being the the center of a love war capturing the envy of other men who could not even ask a woman for a Valentines dinner not to talk of pitting two ladies to fight for them.

In a letter written by the PIO to command, it was reported that Kalomo was in the habit of playing intimate matches with junior police officers.

“The OIC (Kalomo) was bitten on the left arm while Grace Musonda (side chick) was bitten on the forehead and left side of the cheek,” Chongwe PIO Chikwanda Chilembo disclosed as he confirmed the incident in a letter.

However, addressing the issue in an exclusive interview, Kalomo told Kalemba who faced accusations of inappropriate relationships with female colleagues at work pointed out that the allegations stemmed from internal office rivalries,

He categorically rejected the claims, stating, “I joined the police for professional duties, not moral issues. My personal time is my own, and I’m free to engage in personal activities outside working hours.”

Kalomo expressed frustration over the damage to his reputation, suggesting that certain individuals sought to undermine his position.

“None of the mentioned ladies have a romantic relationship with me. I’ve initiated positive programs at Chongwe Police, receiving support from the public, which wouldn’t happen if colleagues were against me.”

Kalomo criticized the involvement of social media, emphasizing, “My job is about police work, not social media drama. I have not violated any professional conduct, and the accusations are aimed at tarnishing my image.”

In response to queries about his redeployment, Kalomo clarified, “I have not received any official correspondence from the service headquarters. The information circulating on social media is not confirmed. I remain committed to my duty, and the recent incident does not affect my ability to lead professionally.”

The controversy originated from an incident at Plan B Lounge, where a confrontation ensued between two women Constable Rabecca Zimba and Grace Musonda claiming romantic connections with Kalomo.

Injuries were sustained, raising concerns about Kalomo’s leadership within the police force.
