TRADERS around Lusaka’s Northmead Market are mourning the death of one of the most recognisable youth in the area.
Watson Chansa, who graduated from street kid to responsible adulthood around Northmead market died yesterday when he was being taken to Chipata Level One Hospital.
But with no traceable relations, the traders do not know how to proceed with funeral arrangements.
According his friend, Chansa was staying alone in a one roomed house in Garden Compound while washing cars at Northmead.
Florence, who is also a trader at Northmead market has appealed to the public to help locate Chansa’s relatives.
Florence said before Chansa’s demise, he was telling his friends that he came from Kashikishi in Luapula Province.
